Nova America produces 150,000 m3 of anhydrous ethyl alcohol and 70,000 m3 of hydrated ethyl alcohol commercialized in bulk. Alcohol is an ecologically correct fuel that does not affect the ozone layer and is obtained from a renewable source. Since it is produced from sugar cane, it helps in the renovation of carbon dioxide through photosynthesis in the cane fields. When used with specific recommendations, it can be mixed to diesel and gasoline, working as an additive, without damaging the engine. With the production in the Tarumã and Maracai units, the Group now has an installed capacity of more than 270,000 m3 of alcohol.
